Birth Centers

Andaluz has two birth centers to serve families in the Portland and Yamhill County area. Both birth centers offer beautiful and comfortable birth rooms with queen size beds, large showers, deep tubs for labor and birth, and of course safety equipment such as oxygen and medications to use if needed. Each birth center has a kitchen so you can make a cup of tea or enjoy a meal, a lending library and classroom area, and free wi-fi. Pain management options are offered such as nitrous oxide (also called laughing gas), and birth balls or birth stools to help you find comfort during your labor. Each room has a diffuser with the option of using essential oils such as clary sage, lavender, and basil which can provide a relaxing atmosphere and the benefits of aromatherapy during your labor and birth.

Portland Birth Center

In Southwest Portland we found a historical colonial building and completely renovated it with teak wood floors and stonework throughout. Four beautiful birthing suites with queen sized beds and state of the art birth pools, two consultation rooms, a large classroom, our living room, and a gorgeous full-size kitchen.

Dundee Cottage

Nestled between Newberg and Dundee, we have a beautiful one bedroom cottage that is cozy and private. A convenient and welcoming option for those families that live in the Yamhill County area.

Newberg Studio

Our Newberg studio is located in the heart of downtown Newberg at 510 East First Street. We frequently offer classes and different events to benefit the Andaluz community. Be sure to check out the calendar to see whats coming up!
