We will prepare an estimate of any out-of-pocket costs. The fee for providing an estimate is $50.
After you have attended a tour you can send us a copy of your insurance card. We will contact your insurance carrier and discuss how much it will cost to have a birth center birth with us.We will email you an estimate prior to making the decision to move forward with your first appointment with the midwives, so you are able to make informed choices about your care.
If you decide to sign up for care, the $50 verification of benefits fee will be applied to your $200 registration fee. -
If you have a high deductible or out-of-pocket max, or would like to pay without insurance, we offer a self-pay option that includes routine prenatal care, birth support with our midwives, and the first six weeks of postpartum care for you and your newborn.
Payment plans are available.
Please contact us for more information about the self-pay rate. -
Our birth center charges a $200 registration fee to help us remain sustainable and cover administration costs. Insurance does not cover this fee.
Insurance also does not cover the use of nitrous oxide in labor. If you are interested in using nitrous for pain management during birth, please ask our front desk about pricing.
